Restaurants near Old Trafford |
near Old Trafford Football Stadium & Cricket Ground |
There are only
a handful of restaurants near Old Trafford football
stadium,
the legendary home of Manchester
United, and the city's most famous landmark.
It is located just 2 miles (4km) from Manchester city centre, with Lancashire County
Cricket Club's Emirates Old Trafford cricket
ground nearby.
As you'd expect, most Old Trafford restaurants get very
busy on match days, as do the numerous fish'n'chip shops
and takeaways that sit proudly at the top of Sir Matt Busby
Way.
Old Trafford metrolink tram stop is attached to Lancashire
County Cricket Ground, just 10 minutes walk from Manchester
United along Warwick Road, and only 7 minutes journey time to Deansgate Castlefield
in the city centre, where there is a further choice of restaurants.
For those going to "The Theatre Of Dreams", you can also get off the tram at Pomona (5 minutes journey from Deansgate Castlefield) or Exchange Quay (7 mins journey), both being an easy 12 minutes walk to Old Trafford football stadium.
Alternatively, Manchester
United fans can catch a match day river cruise barge direct from the restaurants in both Castlefield and Spinningfields to Old Trafford.
