Your Round? Give the Finger!

Spinningfields bar XYZ Social have introduced Fingopay veinID biometric technology, allowing customers to pay for their drinks with a simple swipe of their finger.

The new bar, which opened earlier this month on the ground floor of the XYZ Building (the one with the big white lampshades outside), claims to be the first in the UK to use the technology, which is linked to the user's credit or debit card, after an initial sign up.

After successful pilots at Portmeirion's Festival Number 6, Proud Bar in Camden, Brunel University and Copenhagen Business School over the past two years, Manchester has been chosen to be the first city in the world to roll out the payment system.

Located inside the same building as Drake & Morgan's Refinery, XYZ Social is the spin off bar of All Work & Social co-working space, and is open to the public from morning coffee to evening craft beers and pizza.

Just remember to take your fingers.
