Wahacked27th Aug 2020The big name closures keep on coming - with many more expected - and the latest restaurant to disappear from Manchester is Mexican chain Wahaca.
The Corn Exchange venue, which was the first Wahaca in the north of England when it opened in 2015, is one of ten branches nationwide to face the axe, as the company fights for its survival by focusing on its 18 remaining restaurants.

Founded in 2007 by former Masterchef winner Thomasina Miers and Mark Selby (not the snooker player), they have also announced that the branch in Liverpool will also close.
It's not all bad news at The Corn Exchange though as the Lamba family have just opened their fist UK branch of Indian cafe-meets-restaurant concept Delhi House Café.
