Tom Kerridge Signs for Man United Legends7th Jun 20193 Michelin Star chef and Manchester United fan, Tom Kerridge, has announced he is on his way to Manchester to head up Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville's new Stock Exchange restaurant.
The celebrity chef has revealed that the menu will take its inspiration from his three Marlow gastropubs; the 2 Michelin-starred The Hand and Flowers, Michelin-starred The Coach, and the Butcher’s Tap.
Located in the original stunning banking hall of the Grade II-listed, Edwardian Baroque-style former stock exchange building, with private dining in the wine cellars, the 41-bedroom boutique Stock Exchange MCR will be the second hotel from the former Manchester United legend's GG Hospitality group, joining Hotel Football at Old Trafford.

It will also be the second hotel restaurant for Tom Kerridge too, following the success of his Kerridge’s Bar & Grill in the Corinthia, London; which serves up his trademark refined British comfort food and his unique take on the UK’s most celebrated dishes, which hark back to traditional techniques.
It is not the first time the Boothstown current Wales boss and Bury-born Sky Sports pundit have partnered with a Michelin Star chef, as 2 Michelin-star chef Michael Wignall acted as original Creative Director for Cafe Football, whilst "Hair Metal" celebrity chef, Michael O'Hare, from the Michelin Starred Man Behind The Curtain, in Leeds, failed to deliver at the short lived Rabbit In The Moon.
Following the closure of the Urbis restaurant, it was a case of O'Hare today, gone tomorrow as the United legends turned to the likeable Buckinghamshire based chef, instead of following through with plans for the controversial Yorkshireman's The Man Who Fell To Earth, and Are Friends Electric? concepts at Stock.
The hotel and restaurant is expected to open at the end of 2019, around the same time as his new cookbook.
