Schofield Towers

As if opening their brand new stunning hometown cocktail bar, Schofield's Bar, in April was not enough, the world-class bartender brothers, Joe and Daniel Schofield, have already announced a second venue in the Deansgate Square skyscrapers.

The Bury-born brothers have won a number of prestigious awards, with Joe being the first person in history to have won both the ‘International Bartender of The Year’ at the Tales of The Cocktail Spirited Awards and the 'Bartender’s Bartender' at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2018.

Partnering with wine expert James Brandwood (formerly of Vinehop in Poynton), the riverside Atomeca European drinkery will serve coffees, locally-baked pastries and tapas-style plates, from May 17th.

They are joined by another coffee and brunch hangout, with Mule - who have only just launched their first stunning venue on Blossom Street in Ancoats, this month - set to take another unit this summer.

The four imposing Simpson Haugh designed glazed towers, at the end of Deansgate, house 1508 luxury apartments over a 2.7 acre site, which includes a plaza alongside the River Medlock and retail units, the first of which has been taken by the team behind Ancoats General Store.
