Pilcrow to Go, for New Old Bank

Plans have been submitted to extend an historic Grade II-listed former bank on Corporation Street, next to the CIS Tower. 

The proposals see a new seven-storey glass extension added at the rear of the Old Bank, where the pop-up Pilcrow Pub currently stands, creating new office space, a top floor balcony and four new retail or leisure units on the ground floor.

Part of the NOMA development, the extension will overlook the new Sadler’s Yard public space, with the Pilcrow Pub relocating elsewhere in the neighbourhood.

The Old Bank Residency creative community events space with its One Dish Room studio kitchen - currently located inside the existing building - will also move to a new location if the proposals are agreed.
