It has been announced that, barely a year after opening, the new Crowne Plaza on Oxford Road, with its Laureate restaurant, will change affiliation to Hyatt Hotels in 2020.
Located across the road from the RNCM on Oxford Road, the Hyatt Regency Manchester Oxford Road and Hyatt House Manchester will be ran by affiliate M&L Hospitality at the 19-storey Lume building, replacing the Crowne Plaza Manchester and Staybridge Suites, which only opened on the 5th September 2018.

Wythenshawe-born former Hilton chef David Gale - who
The 212-room Hyatt Regency hotel will replace the Crowne Plaza Manchester Oxford Road, with a new 120-seat restaurant replacing The Laureate, keeping the attached bar and lounge.
On the top floors, the Hyatt Regency hotel will replace Staybridge Suites offering apartment-style longer stay accommodation.
