No Need To Queue at Dishoom~ Book a table at Dishoom ~ 7th Aug 2020After a few months in Lockdown, Dishoom, the mega popular stunning Indian restaurant inside Manchester Hall, have announced they will be firing up the stoves, brewing large pots of chai and warming up their walla welcomes ahead of their doors reopening on Friday 10th July.
Famed for its non-reservation policy, with queues outside snaking down Bridge Street in the rain a common sight, for the very first time in their long history, they are now taking bookings for parties of all sizes until the end of July - although no more than two households can dine together.
The move has been introduced to help keep everyone safe with new social distancing procedures, with the restaurant going beyond government requirements to put in place extensive measures that help deliver the highest standards of health and safety, with contactless pay-at-table payments encouraged.
Walk-ins remain welcome, however reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment, especially during busy periods and are sure to be a welcome opportunity for fans of the Zoroastrian Irani café.
For those people still shielding, they need not miss out, as Dishoom's "at-home" Bacon Naan Rolls cookery kits are available for nationwide delivery.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited opening of Dishoom Birmingham will officially happen on Thursday 6th August, with a 50% off food soft launch from Saturday 18th July.
