Meet Mrs Cooper~ CLICK HERE FOR MR COOPER'S ~ 25th Jun 2019The Midland Hotel's 2 AA Rosette casual dining brasserie, Mr Cooper’s House & Garden, have unveiled Longsight-raised Rebecca Richardson, 36, as their new Head Chef.
Rebecca, 36, who trained at Stockport's North Area College, and under Gary Rhode's former Head Chef Ian Morgan, comes to Mr. Cooper's from the Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Worsley.
Her new menu continues Mr. Cooper's ethos of focusing on home-grown British favourites, with cuts of meat from the restaurant's in-house butcher; combining modern touches with the history and heritage of the passionate horticulturist, whose house and famous fruit and vegetable gardens sat on the site, 200 years ago, back in 1819.
Jens Hallman, General Manager at The Midland Hotel said: “I’ve known Rebecca for some time and have always been a fan of her food and creativity.
“I’m delighted with her appointment as head chef at Mr. Cooper's, and believe she will bring both flair and real quality to our menus and help to re-establish the restaurant within Manchester’s food and drink scene.”
