As we reported back in October 2019, London Thai restaurant chain, Rosa's Thai Cafe is set to open in the former Handmade Burger unit at the Old Courthouse on Deansgate.
They have now announced an opening date of Saturday 22nd February 2020 - the same weekend that Back To The Future The Musical makes its world premiere, just around the corner at The Opera House.
With 16 branches in London, plus Liverpool and Leeds, the fast growing chain offers a menu inspired by founder Saiphin Moore's childhood on her family's farm in Thailand .

The best-selling cookbook author grew up in Thailand before moving to Hong Kong, where she ran a noodle shop for 18 years, before relocating to London and running a market stall with her husband on Brick Lane. Eventually they found permanent premises nearby in a former Italian cafe, called Rosa's; keeping the name in tribute to the former tenant.
Specialing in North-Eastern "Isaan" Thai cuisine, where dishes are ordered to share, the emphasis is on fiery fresh salads designed to complement sticky rice.
They are offering 50% off food on the opening weekend to pre-booked tables.
