Keep on Tryin' Till You Reach the Higher Ground10th Feb 2020KAMPUS, "Manchester’s new garden neighbourhood" - on Minshull Street, at the end of Canal Street - have announced their first restaurant pop-up.
Higher Ground - so called for its location inside "The Bungalow", an old security cabin set on concrete stilts - is the brainchild of one of Manchester's finest chefs and is the most exciting new restaurant opening of 2020 so far.

With a daily changing menu, "inspired by Manchester," using North West ingredients, together with local Cloudwater beers and natural wines, the approachable fine dining restaurant will be operated by Joe Otway (formerly Head Chef at Where the Light Gets, who gained his experience at the incredible Michelin-starred Relæ in Copenhagen) and Richard Cossins (previously general manager at Simon Rogan's Michelin starred Fera, at Claridges in London, and the recently awarded 2-Michelin starred Blue Hill Stone Barns, in New York).
Higher Ground is set to open Thursday to Sunday evenings, on February 21st 2020, with the hope of making the pop-up more permanent.
