Iftar from Afar

One restaurant that has stayed busy during Lockdown is the brilliant Zouk Tea Bar & Grill, who have now released a specially curated Iftar takeaway box for Ramadan.

For £50, it feeds upto five people and contains some of their all time favourite dishes, and popular classics, finished off with traditional desserts, they should help take the stress out of shopping and cooking in this blessed month.

Unfortunately though, they can’t help with the washing up!

Teaming up with Altrincham & Hale Muslim Association, Zouk have been distributing food parcels to the staff at local hospitals and donating sacks of rice and potatoes, tinned tomatoes, beans and other ingredients to Open Kitchen Manchester, the waste food catering social enterprise who are supporting vulnerable people in the region (street homeless, the elderly, and families in poverty etc.).

Zouk remain open for business with takeaway collection and delivery offered. They have also introduced BBQ meat packs for those promising to stick to the self isolation rules.
