Fabrica de Algodon26th Jun 2019The Whitworth Locke hotel (formerly The Atrium), opposite Canal Street on Princess Street, opens its new "residency restaurant", The Cotton Factory, this week with the first of an ever-changing offering from up and coming food traders; local Mexican pop-up favourites El Camino.
The Mexican food specialist, which hosted its first pop-up in Urmston earlier this year, has created a bespoke menu for The Cotton Factory, serving their signature tacos and tequila cocktails plus a host of Mexican beers.

The 78-cover restaurant boasts an open kitchen, which allows diners to watch the street food chefs prepare their food from the seats at the chef’s table, whilst booths, benches, and a hidden private dining room offer more intimacy.
The Cotton Factory, named after the historic canalside cotton mill that now houses The Whitworth Locke hotel, was created by The Initiative Group - originally from France - who also operate The Conservatory pop-up bar in the same building and a collection of venues in London; from five-star hotels to nightclubs and festive food markets, including Javier Duarte's Abel food counter.
El Camino at The Cotton Factory officially launches on Thursday 4th July for a three month residency, however their soft launch period, from Thursday 27th June, offers 50% off food for pre-booked tables.
