Ciao a Bella Italia3rd Jul 2020
As is widely expected, many more restaurant closures lie ahead as the Casual Dining Group is the latest operator to enter into administration, with 91 of their 250 venues set to disappear permanently.
The group, which own Bella Italia, Cafe Rouge and Las Iguanas, operate numerous venues in the region, some of which are to close.
1,900 jobs are expected to be lost across the group, including many in Manchester.

So far, it has been announced that Bella Italia Manchester Deansgate (one of the oldest in the country, previously called Bella Pasta), together with Manchester Piccadilly and Bella Italia Didsbury are to close, whilst the branches at Manchester Arndale, Salford Quays, Ashton-under-Lyne, and Bolton are all up for sale.
Following the recent closures of Cafe Rouge Printworks and Deansgate, Cafe Rouge at The Trafford Centre is also set to close, whilst Cafe Rouge Salford Quays is to be part of any sale.
Las Iguanas Deansgate and Las Iguanas Trafford Centre will also be included in any successful sale by the administrators.
