Greens Restaurant Didsbury - reader comments |
"I really don't have a bad thing to say about Greens. It was my first visit and I am a meat eater who enjoys having non-meat days. I have already recommended to many of my foodie friends. I will definitely be going again." - claire, ashton-under-lyne 17/2/09 (visited on a thursday evening) |

| "Greens offers good Food, good vibe, nice decor, friendly staff. I am not a vegetarian but with lots of vegetarian friends I always notice the lack of choice, but not a weak veggie option in sight, all hearty, flavoursome meals." - sarah, hyde 21/1/09 (visited on a tuesday evening) |

| "Some years ago Greens provided the best restaurant meal I have ever eaten but their standards seem to have fallen a long way since then" - richard lund, manchester 28/10/08 (visited on a monday evening) |

| "Service and food were excellent on my birthday trip. We are going to Greens again soon, as probably the best meal we have both ever had, and my fiance is a hardened steak eater! Wine flowed and we were stuffed with the great portion sizes. Mr Rimmer even showed his face as we were leaving, so needless to say we were well chuffed!" - melanie, manchester 21/8/08 (visited on a monday evening) |

| "Very helpful. We went to Greens at luchtime and for a specific dish which was advertised on the evening menu. The waitress said she would ask the chef if he could cook what we wanted and he did without hesitation. Now that's the sort of thing you need to happen. Also my mother became very unwell whilst there and the waitress was lovely. We had really enjoyed the food!" - jane morris, stockport 1/5/08 |

| "My second visit to Greens for Saturday evening. My second disappointing visit. Drafty table on top of the door. Little choice if you don't want cheese. Tastless starter. Main disappointing and small. Cream served with a friends pudding was also on the turn. To add insult to injury Xmas menu was advertised as being available on that date, at that time, with the same dishes at significantly cheaper prices. Not impressed" - alice rawlings, york 14/1/08 (visited on a saturday evening) |
