"Our party of 16 had pre-booked Milan in Worsley a few weeks before for a family gathering. As they were aware of the group size, they could've prepared much better. The restaurant was too warm and more noticeable given no drinks were served. The food was okay but the vegetables served with all the mains were undercooked and heavily coated in garlic. My Sea Bass wasn't particularly warm, but it was well cooked.
There were too many mistakes with the drinks and food orders. Some of the staff were friendly but others barked questions at us when asking if starters were finished.
One girl snapped because the plate she was holding was too hot.
There was no personal attention and no one asked if we were enjoying the food or if everything was okay.
We ordered individual drinks instead of a bottle of wine but the 18 wine glasses on the table when we arrived were never collected. Although they were ordered before, our drinks were not served with the main. Service was not organised and they kept having to walk round the table to serve people drinks. They could've organised a tray so at least one side of the table would be served, then the other, rather than making everyone dizzy going back and forth.
After the drinks arrived late (after the mains had been eaten), we were not offered another drink and the empty glasses were never collected from the table.
The staff didn't seem to want to make money. They didn't offer any drinks, didn't come back to the table often enough and didn't offer coffees or
liqueurs
at the end. I felt it was a poor evening and walked away feeling very unimpressed and let down for my granparents. They had held a similar party there for Easter with a similar size group and were not treated like returning valued customers." -
