Leonis Latin Cellar
Located just around the corner from the Town Hall and Albert Square, Leonis has been established for over 35 years.
Originally an Italian restaurant, the owners and their family now have Chilean, Spanish and Italian roots which is certainly reflected in the menu.
The wines have been especially selected from these countries, complementing the wide range of dishes on offer which include specialities from Chile, Italy, Spain and Argentina.
Where possible, the ingredients are imported directly from the country of the dish's origin and all the steaks are prime Argentinean beef.
Leoni's aim to offer guests a different spectrum of Latin American cuisine alongside old Italian favourites, pizzas, pastas and Spanish tapas.

From Pizza Napoli to Paella De La Casa, Linguine Pescatore to Pollo Andino, and Penne Piccanti to Patatas a la brava, Leoni's brings together the best from Italy and Latin America.
Chilean specialities include Ceviche, Empanadas, Anticucho Mixto, Pez Espada and, one of the most traditional Chilean dishes, Pastel de Choclo, a tasteful mixture of prime minced beef, onions, boneless chicken and chopped boiled egg, topped with a layer of caramelised sweetcorn.
With the Royal Exchange and the shops only a stone's throw away, and The Bridgewater Hall also close by, the special offers at Leoni's are aimed at making your theatre visit extra special, or your shopping trips more relaxing for an unbeatable price.

"Leoni's Italian restaurant has always been popular with business clients and was famed as being the favourite haunt of Luciano Pavarotti when he was in town.
The current owners have allowed their Chilean roots to complement their many years of working in Italian restaurants and have created an eclectic menu which should appeal to the establishment's existing customer base as well as those seeking specialities from Latin America and Spain.
The food is honest and flavoursome and prices are as welcoming as the friendly staff.
The wine list of Italian and New World wines is impressive - arguably one of the cheapest in town - and you can see why Leoni's is popular with celebrations - the party menu is also worthy of mention.
