Choice Bar & Restaurant is a multi-award winning fine dining restaurant and piano bar located in the beautiful Castlefield canal basin in Manchester city centre, serving the best British dishes.
Head Chef, eighth generation Mancunian, Mark Anthony Jones, is a talented graduate of the Paul Heathcotes School of Excellence where he developed his passion for regional produce and cuisines.
He has worked with Manchester University and several well respected independent hotels, restaurants, international airlines and a consultant for a Gastro Pub development.
Mark joined Choice in 2003 as an ideal stage for his use of classical flavours, contemporary ideas and his driven passion for local produce which imprints his local roots firmly onto his food.
He works closely with quality producers from the North West to create new exciting dishes in the pursuit of excellence that retain a traditional and regional signature.

With its beautiful canal side setting, Choice is especially popular when the sun beats down, with amazing al fresco dining matched by great views.
The towpath outside Choice also offers pleasant summertime strolls around the historic Castlefield heritage area, whlst the Bridgewater Hall, Palace Theatre and Old Trafford are only a short walk away, further along the canal.
Choice's close proximity to Old Trafford makes it especially popular with Manchester United directors, executive football fans and cricket fans alike, before and after matches.
Both stadiums are only a 1.5 mile, five minute drive away, or an easy 25 minute walk along the tow path, with match day canal boats leaving near the restaurant.
Unlike many city centre restaurants, Choice also offers car parking, and is available for private frunctions for as little as £17 per person..
