'Bacchanalia'
is a Greek word for 'a gathering of people, eating, drinking
and having a good time' and that's what you'll find at Bacchanalia
bar in Manchester.
Situated
in a beautiful Tudor House on Chapel Walks, less than a minute's
stroll from King Street. Their peaceful location provides
the perfect ambience for the perfect cocktail or glass of
wine.
Bacchanalia
is well situated for shoppers and business-folk alike, turning
into a busy night-time venue for dinner and drinks - the ideal
destination for theatre and concert goers with the Royal Exchange
and MEN Arena being just around the corner.
The
first thing you see when you step foot inside Bacchanalia is
that downstairs is predominantly a bar, with the bartenders
serving over 150 cocktails and a selection of wines that Baccus,
the Greek god of wine, would be proud of.
Upstairs
you'll find the excellent restaurant serving a mixture of Mediterranean
inspired dishes with some English favourites thrown is for good
measure.

pride themselves on delivering quality food, quality drinks
and quality service. They achieve this by serving only fresh
food, freezing nothing other than the chocolate and chilli ice
cream which is also made by their chefs from fresh.
The
restaurant is situated on the 1st floor and is a light airy
space in the daytime, but as the night falls the mood changes
with the mixture of warm candle light and the glow from the
open kitchen combined with the bustle from the chefs as they
prepare and cook the days special gourmet delights!
In
the daytime meals can be served in the bar area on the ground
floor or when the weather is being very kind to us and the sun
is shining then Bacchanalia has a large amount of tables outside
on Chapel Walks where al fresco dining allows you to soak up
the fresh air and indulge in a spot of people watching on one
of Manchester’s busiest thoroughfares.
